Film editor since 1997, she works primarily on single-episode documentaries and occasionally on short fiction films. Fully satisfied with her work as an editor, she turns to directing only occasionally, waiting for a sense of necessity or urgency to tell a story. She says she is driven first and foremost by the desire to share her encounters with people whose commitments move her: people who stand up for the vulnerable, who fight for a cause; men and women who believe that we can act collectively for the common good.
