After returning to school to study Speculative Narrative and Videography at ERG Brussels, Sarah expanded her practice to include documentary filmmaking.
In 2018, she began working as a camerawoman at RTBF before launching her career as a documentary director.
During a six-month residency at the Ateliers Varan and the Rencontres Premiers Films in Lussas in 2020, she began writing her first feature film, Dawn after the monsters.
