Mirjam Strugalla is an editor and screenwriter of French and German origin. Since 2001, after earning her degree in film editing from the French national film school La Fémis, she has been editing and co-writing documentaries and fiction films that have been acclaimed at Sundance, Hot Docs, the Berlinale, IDFA, and many other prestigious festivals, with most of the films receiving international theatrical releases. She edited the feature-length documentaries “In Loco Parentis” (also known as “School Life” or “A Kind of Magic”) by Neasa Ní Chianáin, and “A Turning Tide in the Life of Man” and “The Tribe of Gods” by Loïc Jourdain (which she also co-wrote).
She also edited the French feature film “Avant l’aube” (also known as “The Night Clerk”) by Raphaël Jacoulot.
