Louise has studied textile design at the École Duperré. For 10 years, she worked as a costume designer and visual artist, collaborating on projects such as those by choreographer Julie Desprairies, who creates site-specific dance pieces. At the same time, she focused on developing her textile expertise as a tool for sharing, connecting, and documenting stories. In 2019, she co-founded the Nantes-based company BRUMES with sound designer Mathilde Monjanel. Their performances are documentary in nature and give a voice to those who are still too rarely heard—those who care for the earth, who weave and mend family heirlooms and stories, and who advocate and resist to shatter the silence. In 2021, she trained in Super 8 film processing and documentary screenwriting.
