Hélène Froc

After earning a bachelor’s degree in sociology and anthropology in Lille, I enrolled in a master’s program in film studies in Amiens. Simultaneously, I trained in sound recording with several documentary filmmakers, including Raphaële Bénisty, Antarès Bassis, and Laurent Courau. I currently work as a sound recordist. I have collaborated as a sound engineer on feature-length and short documentaries, including Sarah Joveneau’s “L’aube après les monstres” (currently in production), Marine Place’s “J’en suis, j’y reste”, the Portraits of the Inhabitants of Mellionnec, and television-based programs such as “L’écologie près de chez nous” (Ushuaïa TV). At the same time, I continue my work as a director. After participating in the CNC’s “Talents en court” writing program to make my first documentary “Gisèle et moi” (Grand Prize for Medium-Length Film FIFAM 2024), I am now developing my second film, “En bande organisée”, with the production company Mille et Une Films.
