Describing society through a naturalist’s lens, understanding the world in light of new knowledge, and taking a stand—always taking a stand: this is what has fueled Vincent Gaullier’s passion for filmmaking for the past 25 years. Among the fifteen or so documentaries he has directed or co-directed are stories of assembly-line workers (Saigneurs, Best Documentary at the Luchon Festival
2016), a choreographer in zero gravity (L’art de voler, Liège Webfest 2018), and traveling curators (Herbier 2.0); stories of scientific controversies (Le vaccin selon Bill Gates, Tous fous); and grand animated epics (Espèces d’espèces, Pariscience Grand Prize 2008, Atome Sweet Home).
When he isn’t directing, he writes for other directors or produces content at Look at Sciences, a photojournalism agency specializing in science and medicine.
