Elli Bensoussan-Dilly

Elli Bensoussan-Dilly was born in 1993 and lives in Douarnenez. Initially intending to pursue research in the humanities and social sciences, she studied “home” anthropology by researching Western festive cultures. She then developed a passion for documentary filmmaking, which she studied in the master’s program at Lussas in 2020. Her graduation film, Maisons de sable, was selected for the Première Fenêtre section of the Cinéma du Réel festival. In 2022, she co-founded Cinéribines, an association of filmmakers that offers film and sound design workshops in Douarnenez and the surrounding area. In 2025, she completed her first feature-length documentary, Naked-eye prophecies.
