The solitary journey

2003 • 52'
Depression is not merely a state of crisis; it is a fluid, evolving process.
This long journey—from total devastation to a sense of peace—can be seen as a transformative passage, one that may ultimately lead to a true rebirth.
Through the personal accounts of Françoise and Gérard, who once struggled with existing, and by tracing their stories and how they mourned a life that no longer suited them, the film chronicles the solitary journey required to accept existing not as someone else, but in a different way.
