Whiddy

Whiddy tells the story of how a small rural community in the southwest of Ireland welcomed in a major global oil company with open arms only for it to end in the loss of fifty lives – twenty-five of whom were from Brittany. A tragedy that haunts the local community to this day. Now forty-five years on, they are the closest they have ever been to getting some form of justice for those who lost their lives.
