To Be and No Longer Have is a film about nomadic life in a van, and seasonal work. I am going to meet other women who travel the roads doing short-term jobs. We all live in trucks or campervans. We share spaces, car parks, clearings, and dykes. We form small communities for an evening or a job. This film recounts an immersive experience in an alternative lifestyle far from urban centres, on the margins of the neoliberal and capitalist system. A lifestyle that is a quest for freedom.
