Fouzia, Béatrice, Fadma and Marjolaine are French, Muslim and feminist activists within the Al Houda association. Of different ages and backgrounds, they have come together to demand their rights from both their community and French society. Together, these women, most of whom wear the veil, are mobilising and taking action to emancipate themselves and challenge prejudices.
Through their stories and their struggle, this documentary offers us a reflection on the place of Muslim women in France today.
