Sifredy lives in France and dreams of living an adventure in New Caledonia. For as long as I can remember, he has always wanted to leave the country without a return ticket, to go somewhere else where he could put his resourcefulness to good use. At 27, he has this ideal: to live in the heart of nature, reducing his needs to a minimum.
It’s a strategy of voluntary isolation to escape the constraints that suffocate him here. So, while waiting to settle in the forests of New Caledonia, he renovated a small abandoned cottage to live there, sheltered from the world. In the heart of a wood adjacent to a seaside resort, he waits. Here, he is learning to embrace solitude. He knows it will be a few more months before he can leave. He still has a few obstacles to overcome.
