For more than thirty years, every summer, green algae have returned to invade many beaches in Brittany. Anti-pollution programmes have been implemented one after another, but have never succeeded in curbing their proliferation. The phenomenon has even worsened in recent years with the death of animals poisoned by decomposing algae. Intensive farming and livestock breeding are often blamed for these green tides… But is it really that simple? A thirty-something Breton man decides to investigate and attempts to trace the sources of this pollution.
