In the Himuro valley, Akeji and Asako live in a seemingly timeless grass roofed hermitage, among the animals and the spirits of nature. Season after season, Asako picks plants that she transforms into pigments, Akeji prays and is devoted to painting. The circle of nature seems unbreakable. However, time seems to be catching up.
