I am a projectionist. After a season with a touring cinema, I settle down in Paimbœuf, a small town on the Loire estuary. A few streets behind my house, the remains of a 1930s cinema intrigue me. How could it have been abandoned? What lies behind the walled-up façade? I investigate. The residents of Paimbœuf tell me stories, and the old cinema comes back to life…
