Igor and Luba are actors at the Saratov Theater. During the holiday season, they earn money going from house to house dressed as Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden. According to tradition, after distributing gifts to the children, they spend some time with the family. Between these visits and more intimate moments, the film paints a sensitive portrait of a family and a Russian society that is losing its bearings.
